Lone Wolf

Lone Wolf was performed in August 2017 to both public and school audiences as part of the Edinburgh Fringe programme.

“When I was a child I thought I was the moon’s daughter” – Kith, Jay Griffiths

Lone Wolf is an intimate and immersive dance-theatre experience with live music, performed by a dancer (Penny Chivas), a musician and a local school-girl from Craigmillar.

Created by
Jo Timmins, Lyra's artistic director with music by Heir of the Cursed and designed by visual artist Lorraine Hamilton, this is an inter-generational performance exploring themes of belonging, connection and disconnection, subverting the traditionally male symbol of the lone wolf.

Lone Wolf is supported by Creative Scotland, The Robertson Trust, Garfield Weston Foundation and by Kintry Environmental Trust.
